Day 1: Cusco — Tambomachay — Qoricocha Lake — Huchuy Qosqo

We will show up at your hotel at 6 am, at your hotel lobby. Please be ready with all your trekking stuff needed. We drive up to Tambomachay archeological Inca Site. Well known as the temple to the water. There are interesting aqueducts, canals and fountains. The translated name means “place of rest”. This is our trailhead. Then we will hike up to Sicllaccasa pass and witnessing beautiful landscapes followed by vast grasslands. Up on Sicllaccasa pass(4100 masl / 13186 ft) feel a deeply peaceful while contemplating Cusco valley and hearing from the guide momentous events about the invasion of the Hispanic hosts. By the other hand we have outstanding views of farmlands and awesome landscapes.

We will go to our lunch spot next to Qoricocha lake (Golden water) on the road we will absorb a fresh air, pass by some villages and grasslands those whose inhabitants are farmers and shepherds. After a healthy lunch the guide will lead us toward Huchuy Qosqo (The little Cusco). Your porters will set up all your tents for you and offer steaming cup of coca tea. At night Andean astronomy introduction will be provided.

Day 2: Huchuyqosqo — Ollantaytambo.

After a well night´s sleep, our trek assistants will wake you up early with a hot drink before the breakfast. Gaze at the gorgeous Urubamba mountain range to subsequently have a Guided tour followed by some spare time to linger around. All information given encourage our customers having organized History and the guide is open for questions. The latter is characterized by clear concepts of Incan civilization.

This hiking period is downhill We hike about 1½ hours till Lamay town. Walk through a lush and beautiful ravine filled with bird life and exotic plants. Once at the town we can take advantage of our time to walk around. We barely will see tourist around. Our lunch will be ready at our back. Right after lunch we drive to Ollantaytambo (We spend the night here) the oldest Incan town, with its waterways running through the ancient streets. Your guide will lead you to the hotel. Then there is ample time for yourselves to explore the town.

Day 3:  Ollantaytambo — Short Inca Trail (km 104) — Aguas Calientes.

The pick-up time will have been coordinated from your guide. It happens around 5:40 am – 7:00 am. This varies depends on the train schedule, which may be from 06:10 AM or 07:45 AM (or others available at the time of your confirmation). You will be given your respective box lunch and will walk to Ollantaytambo train station, so you can board your train and it will take you to the km. 104. At that point your guide will be waiting for you to start the hike. We pass through the Archeological site of Chachabamba (located at 2250 m.s.n.m.) likewise you will be guided about the complex. Our hike turns to be up hill till we reach Wiñay Wayna agricultural center and the most impressive complex before Machupicchu. While the trip you will be able to appreciate the beautiful views of the Urubamba River as well as the different types of orchids. Then we will take a short break to take our box lunch. Then will be a gradual up and down by 1 hour to Inti Punku (Sungate) to witness the sunset. Subsequentlty we descend to Machupicchu we can only linger at the watchtower and get a charming picture. Afterwards we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. We will leave you at the hotel take a nap till your guide picks you up for dinner.

Day 4: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO.

We wake up really early around 4 to 5 am to catch one of the first busses to Machupicchu. Breakfast will be given by your hotel (breakfast box) please let them know to have it on time. The bus rides last about 25 minutes. Must have passports on you. Machupicchu entry is so stricted and. The sanctuary opens at 6:00 am. This wonder is located at 2400 masl. Guided tour will last approximately 2 hours visiting the main sites such as: the enclosures, plazas, Sacred Fountains, Temples, the agricultural sector and urban. After exploring you can climb either the Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu mountain (It is a big significance to purchase those tickets in advance). Otherwise take the bus to Aguas Calientes town to have lunch. Then we wait for the train which lead us to Ollantaytambo. Usual trains are in the afternoon from 2:55 pm. Whether you want to get back earlier or another take improved service such as the Confirm it in advance. Next to the train station our driver will be holding a sign with your names on it. You will be driven back to Cusco by 2 hours.
